Chinese Dumpling The EasyWay.....
Ingredients :Minced pork, prawn (peel and chop finely),Chives (coarsely chop)
Ingredients :
300grms Minced pork,
10 pcs peeled prawn (chopped coarsely)
1-2 bunches Chives (coarsely chop)1 pc Ginger ( shredded and extract 1 tbps of juice)
1 tbs corn starch
1 egg
2 tbs Chinese cooking wine
1 packet Dumpling pastry (round shape, can get from Asean Grocer)
Method :
Mixed minced pork, prawn, and chive together in a big bowl
Add one egg, corn starch, pinch of salt and sugar
Add one tbs of (Chinese cooking wine) and ginger juice.
Wrap the dumpling :
1. Get one piece of dumpling pastry and lightly wet the round edge with water
2. Scope one tsp of the mixed meat on the dumpling pastry and fold it in half,
gently press the edge to seal it.
3. Boil some water till boiling hot add a tbs of cooking oil
4. Put the filled dumpling pastry into the hot water, do not put too many at a time
5. Make sure the dumpling has floated on top of the boiling water before remove it.
6. Remove and serve with black vinegar or tomato sauce.
Note : you may also choose to deep fry the dumpling.
